It's all about the plants!

Lockwood's started out in greenhouse annual production and this continues to be the main focus of our business today.  The greenhouses were originally built in the early 1900's to start vegetable plants for the fields.  Growing geraniums added needed income when the winter months offered the time to plant and take cuttings for early summer sales prior to the vegetable harvest.  In 1988, with the fourth generation joining the business, Lockwood's started the expansion that has led to the variety and scope of plants we offer today.

As the market for different plants has evolved over the years, Lockwood's has maintained a lead in bringing the best and newest plants to our customers.  Whether it's a perennial, a specialty tree or shrub, herbs and orchids or houseplants we watch over the health and beauty of our plants with the same vigilance as our favorite annuals.  We will keep our commitment to the utmost quality that you've come to expect from Lockwood's Greenhouses.
