Mammoth Mums
The deep freeze won't deep six these winter-hardy mums!
Bred in Minnesota to withstand some of the coldest winter temperatures - to minus 30 degrees - these hardy perennials also grow to be huge. By the second year, they can grow to be as much as 4 feet across.
In the landscape, Mammoth Mums need no pinching, pruning or deadheading. Just fertilize with liquid feed every 3-4 weeks or 1-2 times with a slow release fertilizer. Do this during the spring and summer, then stand back and watch these mums grow! Available at Lockwood's in red, lavender and yellow.
