Merchandise Return Policy
Lockwood’s will gladly accept returns on non-perishable merchandise within 60 days of purchase date. Items must be in re-salable condition and be accompanied by an original register receipt.
If original purchase was made with cash or check (after 10 days) cash will be refunded. Purchase made by credit card or debit card will receive a credit to the original card.
Merchandise returns without a receipt or by check (within 10 days) will receive a store credit.
Seasonal décor items and special orders may only be returned for a merchandise store credit.
Plant Return Policy
Lockwood’s will gladly accept returns on plant material within 10 days of the sale date accompanied by the original receipt. Plants must be in healthy and re-salable condition to receive a full store credit or plant exchange. No cash returns will be issued on plant material.
Guarantee
Lockwood’s strives to sell only quality material in excellent condition. We reserve the right to determine if the plant material was cared for properly after leaving our garden center. Over or under watering, exposure to extreme temperatures or other adverse weather conditions, incorrect planting or improper cultural conditions void the guarantee.
All trees and shrubs are guaranteed for one year and will be replaced at 50% store credit should they fail to grow the season following purchase.
Perennials, roses and Japanese maples are only guaranteed to the first frost of the same season of purchase. Plants will be replaced at full value or store credit will be issued should they die within the current growing season.
Annuals and houseplants are not guaranteed, but Lockwood’s will be open to discussion of the proper care and placement for optimum results should plants not perform up to customer’s expectations. Full or partial replacement will be at the discretion of Lockwood’s based on examination of the plant in question.
If you experience a problem with any of Lockwood’s plants or merchandise, please notify us immediately to allow us to rectify the situation before it becomes irreversible. We will gladly assist you with information to make your experience at Lockwood’s a pleasant one at all times.
